DESCRIPTION:

You know you need vacations when you read this and you want to be there already. We receive you at the airport, take care of everything you deserve and bring you back to the airport with nothing else but unforgettable memories. First night in San José, the capital of Costa Rica, can be as well at any of the mountain hotels from its surroundings, so you avoid the hustle and bustle of the city you're escaping from. Get ready for getting wet, since first destination outside the Central Valley is the Pacuare River, if you rather playing dryer it is possible as well but not as fun as it could be via the rapids to get to the lodge where you are staying for the next two nights. After the Pacuare odyssey, continue to the Caribbean Coast for two nights chilling in Puerto Viejo, Talamanca, to enjoy the Afro Caribbean Culture before moving forward for two more nights to Tortuguero National Park (Turtles Paradise) traveling by speedboat through channels in freshwater rivers among the rain forest. Arenal Volcano three nights is your next stop, get the chance to rejuvenate in the hot springs, which emanate from the slopes of the volcano; and be part of one of the many activities that the region offers. And to finish as only the great ones know how to do, we will fly to the Osa Peninsula, to relax in what NatGeo calls the most biodiverse place on Earth, the Corcovado National Park, where you will stay for 3 nights before returning to the Central Valley, for the last night prior to your returning home.

Overnight for 14 nights in exclusive hotels & Lodges in the tropical forest carefully selected for you. Breakfast every day, lunch and dinner while in Pacuare, Tortuguero and Corcovado visits; and all necessary transfers between destinations.

DO NOT FORGET:

Remember the purpose of your trip, so relax and let yourself be seduced by the temptations of the tropics; but don't let your guard down, and bring with you: casual beachwear, rain forest gear, flip flops, waterproof boots, dry bag to protect your belongings, casual clothing for dinner, hat or cap, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars, camera photographic or video camera depending on your intentions, any medication you require and a good attitude to receive the energy of this new adventure. Some of the destinations you will visit are truly isolated and far from civilization.

OUR TIPS:

Afro-Caribbean gastronomy is a delicacy, just keep in mind that it can be very spicy. Ask for a Paty, Plantintá and Rice & Beans with chicken in a Caribbean sauce. Consider turtle nesting season in Tortuguero National Park runs from July through September, the baby hatching season begins in late August through late October. Humpback whale breeding season in Corcovado National Park runs from July to September, and whales from the southern hemisphere are occasionally seen during January.
