FIRST DAY:
Friendliness and smiles will await you when
a bilingual representative picks you up at
Juan Santa Maria International Airport. You
will be transported to the InterContinental
Hotel, located in a beautiful suburb of San José where you will be checked into a DELUXE
room.
SECOND DAY:
Rise and shine, bright and early at 6 a.m.
The excitement begins with The Highlights
Tours. See volcanoes, a cloud forest,
jungles, the Costa Rican countryside, the La
Paz Waterfall, and a butterfly farm; partake
in a jungle river safari over the Sarapiqui
River and much more. Breakfast and lunch are
included. Tour duration is ten hours.
THIRD DAY:
A shuttle bus will transport you to the
SANSA airport for a short 20 minutes flight
to Quepos. From Quepos we will bring you to
El Parador Hotel located near the famous
Manuel Antonio National Park and the town of
Quepos. You will be checked into a PREMIUM
room. This is one of the best hotels in the
area with amazing ocean views from each
room. After you are settled into your new
quarters, you have a free afternoon to
relax, go to the beach, or go exploring.
FOURTH DAY:
Enjoy the half-day adventure of Naranjo
White Water Rafting in the morning. Leave at
7 a.m. Travel in an open, all-terrain, Tonka
bus through jungles and plantations. And
then it's cowabunga time for the river!
Later in the day, enjoy more relaxing free
time or activities of your choice.
FIFTH DAY:
Free day for you to perhaps visit the
renowned Manuel Antonio National Park. Only
a short walk away, this park is just south
of Quepos on the Pacific Coast. There are a
number of dolphins and, at times, migrating
whales. Manuel Antonio contains a charming
combination of rain forest, beaches and
coral reefs. These beaches are the most
beautiful in the country, lined with lush
forest, and the snorkeling is excellent. The
forest is home for sloth, iguanas, the rare
and adorable squirrel monkeys and millions
of colorful little crabs. And the trail that
winds around Punta Catedral affords some
spectacular views.
SIXTH DAY:
Take
to the trees! Leave at 7 or 10 a.m. for a half day of unforgettable
adventure. Traverse from tree to tree, platform to platform, sailing
through the tropical rainforest canopy, assisted by expert guides. Click

to the left, for more information. Later in the day, enjoy more relaxing
free time or activities of your choice. (If the Canopy Tour is not your
cup of tea, inquire about substituting our Horseback Riding tour through
the rain forest to a beautiful waterfall.)
SEVENTH DAY:
Free Time. Relax at the beach, go hiking,
swimming, fishing, diving or do water
sports! In the afternoon you will take the
shuttle bus to the little airport in Quepos
for a 20 minutes flight back to San José, to
spend your last night at the InterContinental Hotel. After you are settled
into your new quarters, you have a free
afternoon to relax, or go shopping at the MultiPlaza Shopping Center located next to
your hotel.
EIGHTH
DAY:
Check out, return to airport, laden with
happy memories that will surely bring you
back to beautiful Costa Rica again and
again!
