Pacific Aerial Rain Forest Tram

Created to raise the world's consciousness as to the importance of the tropical forests, the New Rain Forest Aerial Tram - Pacific allows visitors to discover the hidden secrets and hanging gardens of the Transitional Tropical Rainforest from a totally different perspective.

The Rain Forest Aerial Tram - Pacific is a new eco-tourism project with 222 acres of forest. The property offers not only one of the most interesting and exuberant forests in the Americas, but also showcases small waterfalls and scenic views of the Pacific Coast, which visitors can enjoy during the Tram ride.

The Aerial Tram has 18 gondolas that allow a maximum for 9 passengers plus one naturalist guide (Bilingual English-Spanish) in each one. During the 90-minute ride, the silent gondola skims the rainforest floor and then soars above giant trees.  Naturalist guides tell visitors about the eco-tourism activities, ecology and why saving the rainforest is so important.

Guests at this biological reserve can take pictures of the tropical plants and wildlife. White faced monkeys, coatimundis, anteaters, eyelash vipers, leaf cutter ants and nearly 400 species of tropical birds all make their home at our sites.

Walking trails allow you to explore the hidden secrets of the forest where, with the assistance of a knowledgeable guide, you’ll learn how the forest grows from the ground up. There are two trail routes, one for beginners and one for the experienced.

Guests will have the opportunity to experience a complete selection of medicinal, aromatic and condiment plants, as well as learn about their practical uses and unique characteristics. Also, amazingly colorful tropical flowers are part of the new Heliconias Gallery experience.

Surrounded by a tropical rainforest, this unique attraction lies along a nature trail where visitors can observe some of Costa Rica’s most important species of snakes. Our expert naturalist guides will accompany visitors, thus enriching the experience
